The Dominican Sisters of Sparkill give thanks to God for the life of our Associate Cecilia Volpati who entered eternal life on January 6, 2019.
Ceil was an Associate of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill from 1981-2019. She was committed to living the life and mission of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill through her volunteering and artwork. Ceil was a tutor for the One-to-One ESL ministry, a member of both the Chapel and Women’s Committees, as well as an Associate Co-Director. She showed her love and dedication to the arts as Art Workshops Leader for Spirit Alive at Dominican Center and through her design and crafting of a stained-glass ambry in Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel.
The Dominican Sisters and Associates will miss Ceil greatly and will treasure her memory. Cecilia Volpati’s full obituary may be found here.
