On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 6:30 PM the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill will be showing, 'Boy on the Run: An Extraordinary Film of Survival'. Facing horrific circumstances, including the Nazi invasion of his native, Czechoslovakia, separation from family, and the impact of Antisemitism in 1940s Europe, Paul Galan recounts his story of survival as a child during the Holocaust. This film is featured as part of JCC Rockland's 20th International Jewish Film Festival. After the screening, Paul Galan will be available for discussion. The Dominican Sisters of Sparkill are delighted to be hosting this event which is free and open to the public.
