Dominican Sisters Travel to the Border, Laredo, Texas

From June 28 – July 7, 2021, Sister Patricia Daly (Caldwell), Sister Patricia Ginty (Blauvelt), Fiona Kyle, Sister Valorie Lordi (Sparkill), Sister Carolann Masone (Amityville), Sister Diane McSherry (Sparkill), and Sister Margaret O’Doherty (Sparkill) traveled to Laredo, Texas, as part of a Dominican Sisters mission team.

Sister Jeanne Shary described the experience of refugees crossing the border as a miracle because of the harrowing passages the refugees endured.
