Monday, May 18th dawned sunny and clear at Blue Hill Golf Course as the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill hosted their 29th Annual Charity Golf Outing. Eighty golfers gathered for a day of friendly competition, laughter, and fellowship, and they were definitely “in the swing.” It was wonderful to reconnect with longtime friends, supporters, and family members while also welcoming new participants into the community.
Families and friends filled both the course and clubhouse throughout the day, creating the warm and joyful atmosphere that has become a hallmark of this annual event. Golfers enjoyed the challenge of Blue Hill’s two scenic nine-hole courses, testing their skills on both the Lake and Pine sides.
We are deeply grateful to all who made the outing such a success — our golfers, sponsors, raffle supporters, volunteers, and generous donors. Through their support, we were able to raise $66,889 to benefit the mission and ministries of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill!
Our 50/50 raffle winners were Kevin Hogan ($4,178), Joan Gervatoski ($2,507), and Florence Puccio ($1,671). We are especially grateful to those winners who generously donated all or part of their winnings back. We also extend special thanks to our sponsors.
More than a fundraiser, the annual outing continues to be a cherished gathering of friends, families, supporters, and community partners united in support of the Sisters’ mission and ministry.
