Iraqi Dominican Sisters begin rebuilding their lives as they mark the 3rd Anniversary of their displacement

August 6, 2017 marked the 3rd anniversary of the displacement of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena of Iraq from their convent and home in Quaraqosh. Threats from ISIS militants sent them fleeing along with countless other individuals and families from towns and cities all across Iraq. Now, 3 years later, with the successful liberation of the Plain of Nineveh, these Sisters are finally returning to their homes.
