On Saturday, October 31, our Sisters in Pakistan gathered in St. Cecilia Church in Loreto for the celebration of Sister Catherine Bashir’s Silver Jubilee as a Dominican Sister of Sparkill. We will be with her in spirit and prayer as Bishop Benny Mario Travas celebrates a Mass of Thanksgiving for Sister Catherine’s 25 years of faithful witness to the gospel. Sister serves as the Principal of Ibn-E-Mariam [Son of Mary] School in Loreto Pakistan. Our hearts and prayers are with you, dear Sister Catherine!
