St. John Chrysostom School Children Pray for Peace in Ukraine

The students, faculty, and staff at St. John Chrysostom School (Bronx) had a “dress down” day to raise money to aid the people of Ukraine. Here we see the children in a school assembly singing “Let There Be Peace on Earth. In the school Chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, the kindergarteners sing “Pass It On,” spreading God’s love to everyone in their hand movements. As of today, the children raised more than $900 for Ukraine’s suffering people. We are so proud of them and all our St. John Chrysostom School Alumni.

The Dominican Sisters of Sparkill opened the St. John Chrysostom School in 1914 and continue to minister there to this day, serving as teachers and administrators. Learn more about this wonderful parish school at: https://www.sjchrysostom.org/
