The Dominican Sisters warmly invite you to our monthly Rosary for Peace on Monday, September 21, 2026. This virtual gathering will be held on Zoom and YouTube, beginning with a brief introduction, followed by the Rosary. We welcome your presence and prayerful participation.
Rooted in Scripture, the Rosary guides us through the profound events, or “Mysteries,” in the lives of Mary and Jesus. Its meditative repetition opens the heart to contemplative prayer, offering a path toward inner peace and spiritual growth. As Dominicans, we embrace the Rosary in the ancient Catholic tradition, often described as “the layperson’s breviary.”
September brings us the Season of Creation, a time to reflect on our relationship with God, one another, and the Earth, our common home. This year’s theme, “Living Waters,” reminds us that water sustains all life and is a powerful sign of God’s love, renewal, and hope.
As we pray the Rosary for Peace, we bring these themes together, asking God to heal our world and bring peace to all who thirst for justice, reconciliation, and hope.
To help you prepare, we encourage you to review our Rosary Outline for Participants, which provides a guide to the flow of the prayer.
