Stars invite us into contemplation, widen our perspective, speak to us of God’s passionate love guided by Jesus the Daystar (2 Pet 1:19), and galvanize us to advocate for eco-justice and to adopt practices of more intentional care for the cosmos. Stars give us an immense sense of hope, reminding us that all of creation will be taken into the transforming power of the Risen One, made new through the rhythms of death and new life in an unfolding universe.
